Kayaking on Georgia Bay

~Traveling by kayak inspires the soul

Kayaking, is there a better way to experience the Georgian Bay?

Ontario provides many locations for kayaking, but we at Key Harbour Lodge believe that Georgian Bay kayaking to be some of the best in the world. We have scenery that is unparallel from the glacier smoothed rock, to the sweeping pines which grow out of their smallest cracks. This area is something to see and behold. Ontario kayaking can be enjoyed anywhere but the Georgian Bay is truly a sight that must be seen. These trips can bring friends and family even closer together and to become one with nature.

Georgian Bay Kayaking trips are also common with adventurers touring the area. People of all kayaking experiences can enjoy these trips. The kayak rental firms do have well trained guides to assist such groups. If you want to take such a trip simply call us at Key Harbour Lodge and we will be pleased to arrange your Ontario Kayaking trip for you.

The Key River is ideal for Ontario Kayaking tours, which are mostly recreational. Here, the waters are calm and clear on most days. All the same, you still need to wear a life jacket; this is one of the main safety requirements for kayaking. If you are doing a camping trip, you should also carry a waterproof bag; this way, you can stuff it into the kayak as you go exploring areas along the river without worrying about your items getting wet.  As a group, you could decide to hitch camp ashore or make a stop to prepare a meal.
