The Key River is ideal for Ontario Kayaking tours, which are mostly recreational. Here, the waters are calm and clear on most days. All the same, you still need to wear a life jacket; this is one of the main safety requirements for kayaking. If you are doing a camping trip, you should also carry a waterproof bag; this way, you can stuff it into the kayak as you go exploring areas along the river without worrying about your items getting wet.  As a group, you could decide to hitch camp ashore or make a stop to prepare a meal.

For our Ontario kayaking trips we also provide a shuttle service which can aid you in bringing your supplies and/or kayaks directly to the bay.

When you are not in the river paddling, you can be on dry ground warming up by the campfire, sharing life stories or playing games. After a hard day of paddling it is nice to relax, shower and sleep in a nice comfortable bed before doing it all again the next day. You can also use this opportunity to sharpen your skills in kayaking or learn it for the first time. A choice of Georgian Bay Kayaking or Ontario Kayaking will make for an excellent week or weekend retreat.
