Kevin Brehmer2022-07-29Great ice cream! Was able to get milk too!R Gsa2022-05-11Had a great time at Key Harbour Lodge. The cabins are very clean and maintained and Chris and dale are very accommodating and welcoming. The store has a variety of fishing tackle and other essentials. The fishing was great catching lots of big bass (all over 2 pounds), pike of all sizes, and even seen some nice walleye come back to camp. Was a great place to stay and of course the scenery of Georgian Bay and the river was great too. Highly recommend it.Michael Fonseca2021-10-19My boys and I were there last weekend in May, fantastic place with a great host. Chris was great! we will be back same time next year.Walk the Arts2021-09-14We are not anglers, but artists, so the context of our review is different. We loved our stay at Key River Lodge last August! Our cabin was very comfortable and clean and had a well-equipped kitchen. Carol and Chris were great hosts, as well as good old Ben, their German Shepherd. Oh Yes! Loved the art on location. Indeed, our trip was a great mix of art, nature, and good food. Of course, we will return! Yves and MonicaKeely Powell2021-08-18Love this place. Been coming around since I was a wee one and that won't be stopping any time soon.Carl S2020-09-29Chris and Carol are super wonderful pillars of the Key Harbour community. Their store is stocked with “key” summer essentials. Boat rental prices are very fair. Always willing to accommodate with services or offer neighbourly help. Propane tank exchange saved a few BBQ dinners! Their new ice cream parlour this summer was yummy. Looking forward for what Chris and Carol have planned for next year.satish kumar2020-07-18Rented a boat for one week. I can speak for his business ethos. Dishonest and greedy. Charged me for two kayaks that we were thinking of renting. He charged me 350$ for 5 days for two kayaks that was sitting in his storage facility. I paid the full as I thought I could live with three loss and I did not want to waste my time with this Chris and wife. Will never go back or rent anything from him.Google rating score: 4.6 of 5, based on 29 reviews
Upon you arrival at the parking site, Chris (owner of Key Harbour) already has your boats waiting for you. Once loaded, its a 40 minute boat ride up the Key River to the lodge. This ride goes by fast as you take in the scenery of the rocky terrain, steep hillsides, and only wets your appetite to start fishing.

The fishing can only be described as awesome! The Georgian Bay is made up of rugged bedrock and surrounded by White Pine forests, and hosts a serious of hidden bays, deep channels, islands, steep ledges, and grassy flats. All of these characteristics make it the perfect location for fishing any large sport fish. Whether you want to catch Northern Pike, Muskie, Walleye, or Small Mouth, this area has it all. Heck, the only thing I have not caught yet is Bigfoot!
· Accommodations:
If you are looking for a Sandals Resort, this is not the place for you. besides, most of your time is spent outdoors, on the water fishing or hunting. The cottages/cabins are what you should expect. Perfect for a getaway with all the features you need for your trip (showers, lots of bedrooms, plenty of fridge space, outdoor grilling area, bait/tackle shop, fire pit, porch area). Chris (the owner) does a great job of helping you unload your boats of supplies and having the cabins setup prior to your arrival. The only thing you need to do is concentrate on fishing and relaxing.

o Many of the visitors to Key Harbour have been coming here for years and over different generations. The reason for that is the people, the hospitality, the fishing, and the opportunity to enjoy nature and its true beauty. I have had some of the best memories in my life while staying at the Key Harbour Lodge. Nothing is better than bonding with friends and families, catching fish, and telling stories around the fire.
o Key Harbour offers a perfect getaway from the reality of life and an escape from the busy city life.
o Key Harbour Lodge has everything you need to make every day a success . Boats are always gassed up and ready to go every morning. So convenient to stop in at the on-site tackle shop if you need any new weapons for the day. After a day on the water, the extra shower house so that all can shower without wait after a day on the water is prime. The fish cleaning hut with running water for fileting your catch is nice. Each house has its own grill for cooking dinner. And the fire pit to relax next too sharing/ talking fish stories of the day completes a perfect day.
o Based on our years of returning to Key Harbour Lodge, the formula is simple. Great location at the mouth of the river and bay, comfortable/flexible accommodations, and great fishing comparable to many fly ins. A winning combination.
Pickerel River, The French, The Bustards, Point Au Baril..all within reach.

The owner, Chris (and crew) make you more than feel welcome and cater to the needs of his guests with enthusiasm and care.
The cabins are basic but comfortable and well appointed with all necessary housekeeping equipment required.
There’s nothing negative I can say about this property and the environment still beautiful, Georgian Bay at it’s finest.”
